上颌骨
.The mandible or maxilla or the part of the face covering these bones.
.Methods Among 11 patients with maxillary tumors, 9 were malignant and 2 were benign. 8 cases underwent subtotal maxillectomy and 3 cases underwent total maxillectomy. Maxillary defects were closely reconstructed combination with pedicled buccal fat pad graft (BFP), temporalis myofascial flap( TMF)and titanium mesh to restore the profile of maxilla.
.The Establishment of the Animal Model for Backward Traction of Maxilla with Zygomatic Implant Anchorage
.The Influence of Millard lip repair on Maxillary Growth: An Experiment Study in Rabbits
.Conclusion:LeFort I osteotomy can be a method in the treatment of old maxillary fracture.
.Results All patients had successfully accomplished maxillary DO and themaxilla had been averagely advanced 11.3mm.
.2. After observation of 13 months, the maxilla vertical location (A-CFH)、the mandibular total length (Ar-Po), the mandibular body length (Go-Gn), the mandibular plane angle(MP-SN) significantly increased, and the SNB angle decreased, N-Me and ANS-Me increased, the upper incisor proclined and the overjet increased, all of which were statistically significant (p<0.05).
.Methods From January 2002 to November 2002,partial maxillectomy or maxillectomy were performed in 3 patients with maxillary gingival carcinoma, in 1 patient with palatine mucoepicermoid carcinoma and in 1 patient with maxillary sinus carcinoma. Maxillary defects were reconstructed with free forearm flaps ranging from (4 cm×5 cm) to 6 cm×7 cm and titanium mesh.
.The main reasons of postsurgical alar deformities are the difficulty in the reconstruction of the lateral-septal cartilage complex of the alae and the presence of an unstable maxilla causing a concavity of the nasal floor.
