3.The two sides express their categorical opposition to the weaponisation and arms race in outer space.

9.The Conference on Disarmament in Geneva has an important role to play in this respect. It should immediately reestablish the Ad Hoc Committee with a mandate to negotiate a new international legal instrument on the prevention of the militarization of or an arms race in outer space.
10.Outer space belongs to all mankind, and the peaceful use of outer space is the common aspiration of all humanity.
