8.In order to study the changing tendency of the ecological environment in Beibu Bay, four cruises of survey were carried out, from Feb., 1998 to May, 1999. The results revealed that Chaetognatha in the area was dominated by warm water species, including Sagitta enflata, S. neglecta, S. bedoti, S. ferox, S. regularis, Krohnitta pacifica, S. pacifica and S. pulchra.
