1.A special phenomenon of Duruo (读若) can be found in the entries of Xingshengzi (形声字) in Shuowen Jiezi (说文解字),i. e. Duruo (读若)and Shengfu (声符)using the same word.
2.There is a weakening tendency of sound representation in semantic-phonetic complexes, mainly due to the intention of word building, characteristics of sound representation, obstacles of word building methods, influence in using words, and the influence of sound shift.
