5.All autonomous regions, autonomous prefectures and autonomous counties are national autonomous areas.
6.If grasslands in national autonomous areas are to be requisitioned or used for state construction, due consideration shall be given to the interests of the national autonomous areas and arrangements made in favour of the economic development of those areas.
7.In a national autonomous area, the National Flag may be displayed on the anniversary of the founding of the national autonomous area and during major traditional festivals of the minority nationalities.
8.In developing natural resources and building enterprises in the national autonomous areas, the state shall give due consideration to the interests of those areas.
9.Aid provided by the state and developed areas to national autonomous areas has promoted their economic development.
10.Chief leaders of ethnic autonomous areas are citizens of the ethnic group or groups exercising regional autonomy in the area concerned.
