1.Determination of Asiaticoside in the Herb of Asiatic Pennywort by HPLC-ELSD
2.Objective: To develop a new method using HPLC-ELSD for determination content of Asiaticoside in the Herb of Asiatic Pennywort.
3.RESULTS:The average recovery of assiaticoside,madecassoside,madecassic acid and asiatic acid is 97.62%(RSD=1.95%,n=5),98.96%(RSD=2.01%,n=5),101.89%(RSD=1.54%,n=5) and 101.28%(RSD=1.38,n=5),respectively.
4.Five compounds were isolated from the alcoholic extract of Centella asiatic , they are β sitosterol, daucosterol, asiatic acid, vanillic acid and asiaticoside. The occurance of daucosterol and vanillic acid in this species was reported for the first time.
5.Objective:To investigate the effects of effective component from Centella asiatica component(centella asiatica & emodin)on complement C3 mRNA and protein in human proximal tubular epithelial cells(HPTEC)stimulated by tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).
6.The four natural plant extracts: Alpinia Speciosa Extract, Sunflower Seed Extract, Echinacea Extract and Centella Asiatica Extract plus Vitamin C derivatives can help prevent collagenese and the break-up of collagen, and promotes the growth and formation of collagen.
7.Four terpenoid compounds were isolated from the roots of Peucedanum rubricaule for the first time. On the basis of spectroscopic methods and X-ray analysis,they were determined as sinodielides A(1),B(2),asiatic acid(3) and ursolic acid(4).
