3.On the base of analyzing the causes of highway frost boiling, combining with practicl works, the author presents to enlarge ,dig ditch wider and deeper,to make embankment higherm,to fall surtace water of highway,to strengthen pavement to solute frost boiling problems.
4.The strength of frozen soil will decrease obviously if it is thawed, especially when ice lens is abundant in it, which is the main cause of the mud pumping in subgrade as well as the instability of foundation in seasonal frozen ground regions.
