10.There was an intense volcanic activity in the rift basin of Tarim Basin in Early Permian. It consisted of eruption of basalt as well as medium-acidic tuff and massive intrusion of basic dike. The K_Ar isotopic age of the basalt is 241～278 Ma, and the Sm_Nd isotopic age of the gabbro is 259 Ma.
