Boreas
.BRDF measurements were obtained by POLDER on various supersites in the South area of the BOREAS.
.The role of Boreal forest biome in climate change has been investigated through the BOREAS experiment.
.And we validate the model initially with observational data from MODIS and from BOREAS. Results show that: this model can simulate the observations well.
.The POLDER instrument (POLarization and Directionality of Earth Reflectances) flew during the BOREAS experiment on?board a C?130 aircraft from NASA.
.The scale abnormal-normal was added to give an overall evaluation of the voice quality of the sustained /a/, sentence abnormal- normal was added to give an overall evaluation of the voice quality of the sentence in the story "boreas and sun".
.An overview of the present status and the future prospects are described. The important technique innovations and the progressive tendency on the regenerative refrigeration technology of the pulse tube,G - M,Stirling and Boreas refrigerators are summarized.
.By using observational datasets collected by BOREAS, HEIFE, ARME, GAME-TIPEX representing different land cover conditions, comprehensive land surface model (CLSM) is validated against the observations to verify the capability to simulate different land processes.
.By using Comprehensive Land Surface Model (CLSM), three snow cases, i.e., France Col de Porte 1993/1994, 1994/1995 and BOREAS SSA-OJP 1994/1995, are simulated. The simulated results were compared with the observations to examine the capability of the model to describe the evolutions of snow cover under two different land cover conditions. Several sensitivity experiments were performed to investigate the effects of some snow cover internal processes parameterizations and vegetation on the model results.
.Soil temperature, moisture, and thermal and water fluxes between adjacent soil layers, obtained from ESES,were used for calculating exchanges of radiation, latent and sensible heat between soil surface and its immediately overlying canopy air. Data for model validation came from a southern study area(53°59′N,105°07′W) of BOREAS(Boreal Ecosystem-Atmosphere Study) located in Saskatchewan,Canada and beloging to temperate climatic zone.
