Curtius conversion
1.Using n-heptanoic acid, thionyl chloride and sodium azide as raw materials, the hexyl isocyanate was prepared via acylation and Curtius conversion. And then the title compound was synthesized through reacting of 5-fluorouracil with hexyl isocyanate in the presence of 4-(N,N-diethylamino)pyridine as catalyst. The overall yield of 75.4% is achieved.
