The positive correlation between glutathion(GSH) content and K +/Na + ratio as chlorophyll content was significant.
3.In three types of halophytes, leaf Na+ and Cl" contents were significantly increased with the severity of the stress (0-400 mmol/L), whereas K+ content and osmotic potential of the cell sap of leaf were drastically decreased. The results showed that different halophytes had different salt-tolerance and the similar osmotic adjustment.
6.The results showed no unfavorable influence of nifedipine on glucose tolerance. TG and TC were decreased while HDL-C HDL_2-C and HDL-C/TC were increased significantly. Nifedipine might be a better medicine for the treatment of essential hypertension and prevention of vascular complications of the heart and brain.
