Gastrointestinal drug
.ORLANDO, FL -- January 27, 2008 -- Patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) receiving imatinib therapy must achieve adequate blood plasma levels of the drug to achieve good clinical outcomes.
.A drug, C10H16N6S, that inhibits acid secretion in the stomach and is used to treat gastrointestinal disorders, such as peptic ulcers.
.Methods 44 patients with advanced gastrointestinal cancer received chrono-chemotherapy: L-OHP 25 mg/(m2·d) infused from 10∶00 to 22∶00,with the highest plasma drug level at 16:00;
.In this study we detectedthe sensitivity to 5 common anti-cancer drugs, and protein expressions ofLRP, GST-pi, hMSH2 and hMLH1 in extruded gastrointestinal carcinomatissues, gastric carcinoma cell line BGC823 and its resistance cell lineBGC823/cDDP, in order to explore the mechanism of drug resistance incancer cells.
.AIM To study drug resistance mechanism of gastrointestinal tumor, we developed MKN28/VCR, MKN45/VCR which were vincristine-resistant cell lines of human gastric cancer.
.However, when 5-ASA is administrated orally, a large amount of the drug is absorbed from the upper gastrointestinal tract (GIT), and causes systemic side effects.
.CONCLUSION:To use compound glycyrrhi_ zin injection combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of enteron malignant tumor at intermediate and advanced stage could improve the therapeutic effect,prevent the liver function injurg induced by drug,and ease gastrointestinal tract reaction.
.Considering this, different sustained-release oral ondansetron pellets were developed aiming to obtain the most constant and complete release of the drug during transit in gastrointestinal tract. By DSC, Glass transition temperature of different aqueous acrylic polymer dispersions such as Eudragit NE30D, Eudragit FS30D, Eudragit RS30D, Eudragit RL30D and their blends were tested.
