1.n the basis of the work described in the literature(1),the study on the optimization of cycle pe-riod,flow rates of heat transfer fluid and other operation parameters is made for the CaCl_2-CH_3OHchemical hear pump system which forces the flow direction to be changed periodically to improve thecycle behaviour,taking coefficient of performance for heating COP_H and cooling capacity W_L as objec-tive functions.
