6.The potential-pH diagrams for magnetite-water and zinc ferrite-water systems at 25℃ and 100℃ have been constructed, by which we can explain thermodynamically the experimental result of zinc calcine hot acid leach, i.e, high temperature (1100℃) zinc calcine is much easier to leach than ordinary zinc calcine.
7.A test has been made for extrating Sc from magnanese ore by employing a chemical concentration process which consists of steps as sulphuric acid leach, extraction of the leach liquor, extraction of Sc from the organic phase, recovery of Co and Ni from residual extracted liquor and preparation of manganese carbonate from the pruified liquor.
8.Iron oxide black pigment, magnetite powder for the production of toner, cobalt-modified magnetite powder for magnetic recording were prepared from pyrite cinder. Our study was concentrated on the oxidation precipitation of magnetite, control of size and shape, surface chemical properties of magnetite, surface modification and magnetic properties of cobalt- modified magnetite powder. Using sulfuric acid to leach pyrite cinder, pyrite was used to reduce acid-leaching solution for the first time.
9.After local red-yellow soil is roasted and activated,infused with industrial waste acid,take out the leach which then is added to activated metasilicate acid to produce the compound PSAFC under certain conditions. The preferred technological conditoin of activation is 700℃ in temperature and 2 hours in duration of the roasting.
