2.This is related to theenviroment and condition of this area: the soils with thick humic horizns,high organic matter content (over 40 gkg-1), abandant nutrients,neutrality to slightly acid, loamy texture suitable degree of com-paction(bulky density ranged from 1. 1 to 1. 4 gcm-3); 500-600 mm rainfall inMay-September, especially temperature in Angust slightly lower(19-20℃).
3.The purpose of this web site is to share my experiences with workers in any country on water logging in agricultural lands, irrigation induced soil salinity, subsurface drainage for agriculture (horizontal and vertical), reuse of groundwater, ground-water hydraulics, (geo)hydrology, rainfall and surface runoff relations, reclamation and improvement of water logged saline, salty, sodic alkaline, and acid sulphate soils, plant growth, crop production and responses as well as statistical analysis consisting of segmented linear regression and cumulative frequency distributions.
