5.The effect of the dosages of alkali treatment agent NaOH and promoter1227 on the rate of weight reduction and strength of the fabric during the weight reduction treatment of wool-like polyester fabric with alkali was examined. Alkali weight reduction treatment has improved the gas permeability, hygroscopicity, brilliancy, drape of the fabric and rendered it the style of smooth and crispy handle and full brilliancy of the wool fabric.
6.There is a significant amount of a polypeptide with mol. wt. of 31K, beth in the viral particle preparation and in the nucleocapsid preparation, which could not be removed by sucrose gradient ultracentrifugation, centrifugation washing, alkali treatment and even proteinasc digestion and detergent treatment.
7.The two techniques have been performed under normal temperature and air pressure: one is by using alkali-treatment bentonite, and the other is by using activated bentonite by low concentration acid treating.
9.The fitting condition of acid and alkali treatment was found by experiment in this study:when treated with acid,pH is about 3.0,the temperature is 60 ℃ and keeping to be heated by water for 15 minutes at this temperature,the speed of adding acid is middle,thus it would not bring much foam when adding acid; when treated with alkali,the temperature is 70℃,the dosage of CaO is 20.34g/L.
