1.Result: The Barthel index scale showed high inter-rater reliability (ICC: 0.987 and 0.945,respectively) and internal consistency at admission and discharge (Cronbach’s alpha coefficient: 0.908 and 0.890,respectively),The Cronbach’s alpha of 10 items in Barthel index is between 0.871 and 0.915. Conclusion: The Barthel index has been shown good inter-rater reliability and internal reliability in patients after acute stroke.
