1.The author analysized the grainness of sands and identified the mineral composition of sands in Takel Mukul Desert, Hi District, and dispussed the characteristics and origin of sand grains of the desert. The analysis shows that the two major types of sand grains, aqueous and aeolian sands, are characterized by obvious differences on their grainness.
