2.A series of Mg-xLi-3Al-2Zn-0.7Re(x=8~14,(wt)%) alloys were prepared in vacuum furnace under the protection of argon atmosphere. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloys were studied.
3.The high purity bulk Ti3 A1C2 has been sintered by hot pressing with the start molar ratio n(TiC): n(Ti): n(M): n(Si)=2: 1: (1.0-1.1): (0.2-0.1) at 1300-1500 ℃ with a pressure of 30 MPa in argon atmosphere.
4.However, too much Al and higher temperature may not be in favor of forming Ti_2AlC. Dense Ti_3AlC_2 has been sintered by hot pressing with the start molar ratio2TiC/Ti/Al/0.2Si/TiB_2 at 1350 ℃ with a pressure of 30MPa in argon atmosphere.
5.Superalloy GH4169 was remelted by ALD 5t entirely sealed-in argon atmosphere electro-slag remelting- ESR(Ar) furnace at Shanghai No5 Steel. The analysis on statistics results showed that, oxygen and sulphur content and difference of carbon,aluminium and titanium content in top and bottom of ESR (Ar) ingot were far lower than that of common ESR ingot;
6.The removal of nitrogen from liquid steel by TiO2 based blast furnace slag was investigated in laboratory. The testing results show that more than 60 percent of nitrogen was removed from low carbon alu minium-killed steel with shielded argon atmosphere and the lowest [N] content about 10×10-6 was obtained.
7.A DC method was used to determine La 2O 3, CeO 2, Pr 6O 11 , Sm 2O 3, Gd 2O 3, Dy 2O 3, Dy 2O 3, Y 2O 3 in Nd and Nd 2O 3 with oxygen argon controlled atmosphere on spectrograph reverse line dispersion 0 25 nm/mm.
8.In order to reduce oxygen content in electro-slag remelting (ESR) steel, the effect of binary slag with high fluor, penta-compound slag with medium and low fluor. argon shielding atmosphere, surface quality of consumable electrode, aFeo in slag and oxygen content in electrode on oxygen content in ESR steel of 1. 2 ton ingot with diameter 420mm and 250mm has been cornpared in commercial production.
9.Auger electron spectroscopy (AES) analysis shows there is a significant diffusion and chemical reactions take place in the interface between metal uranium and aluminum film produced with circulated argon ion bombardment process, which results in the formation of UAl 3 and Al 2O 3 phases. The interfacial role to improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum coated uranium in the atmosphere is discussed.
10.Six new lanthanide complexes with the Schiff base were synthesized in absolute methanol at the atmosphere argon The Schiff bases derived from the reaction of pridoxal with glycine Elemental analysis and conductance measurements show that the complexes have the general formula of [LnL Cl 2·3H 2O],(Ln:La,Y,Sm,Gd,Dy,Yb L=C 10 H 10 O 4N 2) The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis,molar conductivity,IR,UV spectra and H-NMR spectra
