3.In this paper, a detachment-integration stack with active area of 390 cm2 was assembled for experimental studies of quantifying water balance of Nafion 112 membrane in various operating conditions. The effects of current density, temperature, pressure, dry gases operation and hydrogen stoichiometry on net water transfer coefficient were revealed. The water balance data in the paper were important experiment foundation for design of self-humidifying operation for PEM fuel cells.

8.The experiment shows that, when alu- minium chloride and waste liquid are mixed up for over 30 seconds and then butanol is added ,the PH value of mixed liquid is about 5 and about 3.5 at balance, which mixed with waste water, will have a better demulsification effect.
9.MATERIALS: The experiment was carried out in the Shandong Key Laboratory for Biopharmaceutics, Shandong Institute of Biopharmaceutics from February 2003 to January 2004.
