4.The influence of calcium fluoride(CaF2),temperature and liquid phase(C4AF is selected in the paper) on the mineral formation of tri-calcium silicate(C3S) and Ba-bearing calcium sulphoaluminate(CBAS,the chemical measure is selected as 2.75CaO·1.25BaO·3Al2O3·SO3,which shortening is C2.75B1.25A3) in several systems is studied.
5.The main cause of corrosion on glass fibre in portland cement paste is the reactionbetween Ca(OH)_2, precipitated from the hydration of cement, and Si-O skeleton of glassfibre and then produces hydrated calcium silicate gel of C-S-H(I)type, while imperfectionson surface layer of glass fibre accelerate this process.
6.Micro-bore calcium silicate without rock cotton is a white, hard new thermal insulation material which has the features of light unit weight, high hardness, low heat conduction coefficient, heat resisting, corrosion-proofed, cuttable and sawable, and widely used in the pipeline of electric, metallurgy, petrochemistry, architecture and shipbuilding industry, and heat resisting, fireproofed and soundproofed equipment of the house wall.
9.Data obtained from chemical analysis, X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscope demonstrate that the calcium-magnesium silicate whisker appears as 15~60 μm long acicular crystal (37 μm in average), (0.5)~1.0 μm in diameter ( 0.65 μm in average), 20~100 in specific ratio (50∶1 in average).
10.In acceleratory period, the concentrations of calcium and silicate ions reach supersaturation compared to CSH in the solution, which result in high-speed growth of CSH. Reticulation-shaped CSH (high-density CSH) forms near the grain surface, while spheruletic-shaped CSH (low-density CSH) forms in the interspaces of grains formerly filled by solution.
