The average contribution of four pollution sources to TSP were that:coal smoke dust was37%,soil dust was27%,building dust was15.4%,smelting dust was2.9%.
5.Nineteen cases of inhalational chemical pulmonary edema were reported, among them 3 were caused by inhalation of nitrogen dioxide, 1 by sulphur dioxide, 6 by organic phosphate 1065 poisoning, 2 by smoke during burns, 2 by aspiration of chemical polluted water, 1 by aspiration of diesal oil and 4 by aspiration of liquid paraffin. Clinically, the patients had progressive dyspnea and hypoxemia with PaO_2<55mmHg.
