1.Methods The relations between vital capacity pulmonary ventilation and age, height, body weight chest circumference and sitting height were analyzed with multiple correlation and stepwise regression with SPSS.
2.4747 Mongolian students at the age from 7 to 18 years old were investigated. The me-asurements include stature, sitting height, body weight, chest circumference, shoulder breadth and pelvic breadth.

4.Results The coefficients of correlation between vital capacity and age, height, body weight, chest circumference and sitting height were 0.81-0.93 in boys and 0.70-0.90 in girls and the coefficients of correlation between pulmonary ventilation and the parameters were 0.64-0.93 in boys and 0.64-0.90 in girls.
5.The results showed that the three loci had no significant effect on weight,body size,and circumference of cannon bone,the effect of the three loci on milk yield and chest circumference reached a significant level(P < 0.05),effect of BM3413 and IDVGA-2 reached a significant level on withers height(P < 0.05),UWCA9 had a significant effect on withers height(P < 0.01)
6.In the multiple regression model vital capacity as dependent variable, height, chest circumference and sitting height were sent into the model, standardized coefficient of the mode was 0.903 in boys and 0.802 in girls; pulmonary ventilation as dependent variable, age and body weight were entered as predictors, standardized coefficient of the mode was 0.736 in boys and 0.748 in girls.

The results show body weight, height at withers, body length, heart girth, deepness of chest have effects and roles of major genes.
