chlorophyll deficiency
.The yellowing or whitening of normally green plant tissue because of a decreased amount of chlorophyll, often as a result of disease or nutrient deficiency.
.For example, iron deficiency results in CHLOROSIS between the veins, particularly in young leaves that are still synthesizing chlorophyll.
.Nitrogen deficiency causes stunting of growth and chlorosis of older leaves, as chlorophyll pigments are broken down so their components can be reused in the young growing parts of the plants.
.The research results indicated that because Bordeaux nutrition protective powders contained a number of soluble iron and zinc, chlorophyll content, active iron content, total iron content and total zinc content in leaves of tomatoes were increased differently by spraying BNPP-Fe、BNPP-Zn、BNPP-Fe-Zn,compared with CK,in order to rectify iron and zinc deficiency.
