6.The 6th International Symposium on Mining with Backfill held in Brisbane, Australia in April,1988. Based on the information of Symposium Proceedings and the visiting to Austratian mines after the Symposium, and combined with the research achievements in the Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Corporation, the application and the research status of paste fill technology around the world is summed up in this paper, and some keytechniques such as paste preparation, cement addition and pipe choke, which are needed to further study, arepointed out.
7.With the combination of three gain mechanism of double tapered structure, choke and impedance transition based on the two present magnetically insulated transmission line oscillater (MILO) models, a new improved type MILO has been designed through numerical simulation using two and a half dimensional particle-in-cell (PIC) code. Its peak output power is 6GW in L band when input voltage is 550kV and input current is about 35kA.
