2.The third squeezing out stage that occurred since middle and late Pleistocene resulted in the clockwise and turbine like rotation of Chuan Dian block around the late Himalayan east tectonic belt,strike slip movement of Minshan Longmenshan tectonic belt with weak crust shortening,and weakening of eastward squeezing out of South China Block.
3.By estimating the movement velocities of these stations and using a least-square fit under the hypothesis of a rigid body, the modern velocities of the Sichuan-Yunnan, Sichuan-Qinghai and Yangtze block movements are 19.2±2.8 mm/a, 10.7±3.2 mm/a and 9.7±1.6 mm/a respectively and the direction of their movement changes from SE to ESE gradually, indicating the features of clockwise vortex.
