coarctation
.Hypertension Induced by Coarctation of Aorta (Case Report)
.TREATMENT OF COMPLEX CONGENITAL AORTIC COARCTATION WITH ARTIFICIAL DACRON GRAFT BYPASS: WITH THREE CASE REPORTS
.This portion of aorta was resected from a patient with a coarctation. The aorta narrows postductally here to about a 3 mm opening.
.Late systolic murmurs begin in midsystole and extend to or through S2. They may be heard in mitral valve prolapse (frequently accompanied by midsystolic clicks) or coarctation of the aorta.
.Isolated coarctation was present in 31 patients and associated PDA in 4.Rescction and end to end anastomesis was performed in 20 patients and angioplasty with Dacron patch in 8.In another 7 patients, the resected segment was replaced with Dacron or silk vaseular prostheses.
.Methods Male SD rats (total number:78) were randomized into 6 groups:coarctation of abdominal aorta group A(A5, A15), sham operation group B(B5, B15) and carvedilol intervention group C(C5, C15). Hemodynamics and ventriclar remodeling parameters were measured.
