1.This system was evaluated by the Department of Mining Engineering, University of Nottingham in 1984. This paper describes the measuring principles of the kern E2 electronic theodolite and the DM503 EDM device, and summarizes the results of field evaluation on a field base line,a test network and some engineering surveying projects, such as surveys of colliery tip and mining subsidence.
