1.The antifading action of light stabilizers such as spirochroman and chroman to magenta dye image of colour printing paper have been studied. It has been proved that relationship between the image density of the magenta dye(D) and the fading ratio (φ)accords with a multinomial equation, D=a-bφ+cφ~2-dφ~3. The antifading effect of its tocopherols derivatives was better than other light stabihzers, and its substituent effect was clearly showed.
