1.This paper presents a combined technology for mixed C 4 olefin polymerization via prereactor and catalytic distillation reactor. The process can convert over 95% isobutylene in C 4 olefin into diisobutylene(DIB) or isooctene in the present of acid cation exchange resin catalyst,and partial 1-butylene also take part in the reaction.
2.Experimental results showed that the cation of the added salts combined either with water forming aquo-metal ions or with the anion of silicic acid forming coordination complexes and thus giving rise to two different effects on the rate cf polymerization of silicic acid: electrostatic and chemical reaction.
