competent court
1.All or any dispute howsoever arising directly or indirectly under or in respect of these by-laws or any of them in regard to any matter, act, event or thing of whatsoever nature arising or occurring hereunder shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong wherever the act or event or thing shall take place and whatever the nationality, domicile or usual place of residence of any person or party to such dispute and every action or claim arising directly or indirectly therefrom brought by or against the Corporation shall be and the same is hereby submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of a competent court of jurisdiction in Hong Kong.
6.Where the owner or any other person establishes that he may be compelled to pay at a later date in whole or in part any such amount of compensation, with regard to which such person would have enjoyed a right of subrogation under paragraphs 5 or 6 of this Article, had the compensation been paid before the fund was distributed, the Court or other competent authority of the State where the fund has been constituted may order that a sufficient sum shall be provisionally set aside to enable such person at such later date to enforce his claim against the fund.
