3.In this paper, [N(Bu)4]Br was applied to the nucleophilic substitution reaction of α-chlorobutyl isobutyl ether with anhydrous sodium acetate,a new perfumecompound 1-isobutoxybutyl acetate was synthesized, the yields reached up to 60. 2%.
