1.In order to describe the advanced method of design by analysis, this paper presents the stan-dard 《specification of steel petrochemical pressure vessel designed by analysis》, which is being es-tablished, for the section of manufacture, inspection and acceptance, comparing with the require-ments in conventional Standard which is according to design by rule.
