1.This paper introduces the work principle and performance characteristics of the CCD photography sensor through examples of its applications in differential fibre detector of scutcher, nep count tester of card, constant tension auto-control device of roving machine, auto-yarn testing, photoelectric yarn eveness test and analysis instrument and cotton fibre testing instrument and so on. It is pointed out that the combination of photo-electric-mechanism is the future development of textile machinery.
