1.This paper introduced the test method for plane strain fracture toughness of powder metallurgy HIP moulding metallic beryllium at room temperature It was concluded that for K IC testing of brittle beryllium, fatigue precrack could be prepared by tension compression cyclic load with a load ratio P min / P max of -3 The average K IC value of tested beryllium at room temperature was 9 91MPa·m 1/2 , standard deviation was 0 73MPa·m 1/2
