daily minimum
.1.Length of photoperiod has less effect on the fertility of Zheda247S and Peiai64S, while temperature is the main factor and they all belong to temperature-sensitive types, and the correlation of daily minimum temperature with the fertility was the most significant among daily mean temperature, daily max temperature and daily minimum temperature.
.The principles of temperature observation on different underlying surfaces is described. The temperatures on pitch, cement and clay surfaces from December 2002 to September 2003 were analyzed, including daily mean temperature, daily maximum temperature, daily minimum temperature, diurnal temperature range and the differences from air temperature.
.Daily Temperature Range (DTR) decrease significantly at rate -0.08~-0.51/10a. The abrupt changes of temperature can be found mostly in 1980′s, in which Northern Hemisphere mean temperature increased significantly after 1988. The abrupt change of mean temperature began in Chaidamu(1973), maximum, minimum temperature and DTR begin in east Qinghai|Xizang Plateau, Chaidamu and south Qinghai|Xizang Plateau respectively.
.With the statistic box, daily variation of the carbon dioxide flux on the water-air interface for different types of habitat (algae and grass) of the Taihu lake was monitored continuously for every 24~48 hours in spring. The results show that the maximum and minimum flux values are about 5:00 am and 2:00 pm respectively, but for different parts of the lake, different rules exist.
.Abstract: By using the correlation analysis of cotton climatic output and temperature elements of different temperature types and different length periods of time in Akesu cotton region, the results obtained indicate (1) using daily temperature elements of different length periods of time correlated with cotton climatic output is more useful, more reasonable and more easily in founding out optimum temperature elements with biological significance than using ten-days temperature elements; (2) In three temperature elements of mean temperature, maximum temperature and minimum temperature, the effect of maximum temperature on cotton climatic output is the greatest, mean temperature is greater, and minimum temperature is the least; (3) The low temperature in later spring and summer have some limiting effects on forming cotton climatic output in Akesu cotton region.
