2.The most effective method of damping the oscillation is to install power system stabilizer (PSS) and direct current modulation (DCM). But PSS (DCM) designed to a certain mode will produce bad effect to other modes.
4.A new damping estimation method, the secant line method, was presented, that is based on the distance of neighbor peaks and valley of oscillation.
5.Through estimating the oscillation (oscillation frequency and damping) observed in a power system, the proposed adaptive PSS can adjust its parameters on line to keep providing suificient damping to the system.
6.It is indicated that the harmful resonance phenomena can be eliminated in the working range of oscillation frequency by decreasing therotational inertia moment of the bob and increasing the rigidity of the wire ,or by increasing the damping of the bob by the air.
7.Based on the two kind of model, the vibration response of frame caused by the engine vibrating was simulated and analysed at different rigid, comparing the results which indicates that suspension rigid have greater influence on the vibration response of the frame, setting proper suspension rigid can reach a better oscillation damping affection.
