6.Various Claus tail gas treatment processes were discussed, the conventional incineration process analyzed and the characteristics and performances of the following processes compared, such as Claus (dry-bed, near dew point), Claus (liquid phase, near dew point), SO 2 recovery process, H 2S recovery process and direct oxidation process etc. The proper selection of the process should be based upon the local environmental regulations, required investment and operating costs, etc.
8.The propertics of media (cement kiln gas and tail gas ), and the necessity , operation parameters and selection of specifition of the electrostatic precipitater with dew point factors, corrosion of equipment, creepage , as well as the determination of insulator and elimination of thermal collapse are discussed.
10.Abstract: The causes for low efficiency of the heater in No.2 Crude Unit of JPC refinery are described and analyzed including water leaking of steam soot blower,dew point corrosion caused by steam,soot deposits in convection chamber owning to poor soot blowing,high flue gas temperature,no heat recovery of flue gas,and poor performance of insulation lining,etc.By using sonic soot removing system,flue gas recovery system,spray coating of fiber and rock wool,as well as adjustment of flow scheme accordingly in the technical revamping.The dew point corrosion is completely eliminated,the insulation performance is improved,the heat loss is reduced by 1.25%,the flue gas temperature is reduced to about 170 ℃,and the heater efficiency is increased from 83%to more than 90%.
