1.Through analysis for the performance features of laser diode array end-pumped disk laser amplifier,a finite element thermal model of laser crystal Nd∶YLF is established.
2.After measuring the absorption spectrum of the fiber,the possibility of appliing laser diode for pumping 1. 3μ m optical fiber amplifier is discussed.
3.In this paper, a one-cascaded Raman fiber laser operating at 1428nm, as the pump source for a Raman fiber amplifier, is presented. It is pumped by a DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) laser operating at 1342nm, the conversion efficiency is about 28%.
