1.To detect propyleneglucol guluronate sodium sulfate(GPSS) in solution and pooled rat urine with cellulose membrane discontinuous electrophoresis, two electrophoretic buffers were employed:0.1 mol·L -1 zinc acetate and 1.0 mol·L -1 barium acetate.
2.A new detective method of glycosylated hemoglobin (GHb) by discontinuous affinity electrophoresis (DAE) was established in our laboratory.
3.The acid phosphatase (ACP) isozymes from the body fluid of four silkworms , Bombyx mori L. Philosamia cynthia ricini Boisduval, Philosamia cynthia Walteri et Felder and Saturnia pyretorum pearsoni Westwood, were analysed and compared by vertical discontinuous polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results indicate that: 1 )The four isozyme bands of B. mori L in A staining region are coded by four alleles at Acp-lA and Acp-2A locus.
4.The results of electrophoresis on polyacrylamide and isoelectric focusing elec trophoresis of these three toxic fractions showed that they are homogeneous. Their isoelectric points are 8.7, 9.1,9.1 respectively . The molecular weight of the toxins determined by SDS-discontinuous polyacrylamide gel slab electrophoresis are 6,600, 5,000 and 8,500 respectively.
5.Peroxidase isoenzymic patterns in sixty four varieties(types)of Chinese jujube were studied by using the discontinuous system of ployacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
