2.Through thecollection of resource of thin-skinned muskmelon varieties in Shanghai and preliminary studyof their botanical and agricultural biological characters, it is concluded that thin-skinnedmuskmelons whose fruits are fragrant and sweet and have a dioptre more than Brix 5% belong to three varieties (var. makuwa Makino,var. albida Makino and var. flava Makino)ofmuskmelon species(Cucumis melo L. ) .
通过对本市郊区薄皮甜瓜品种资源的收集及其植物学性状、农业生物学特性的初步研究，确定其中果实具有香味、甜味、折光糖度超过Brix5％的薄皮甜瓜分别归属于甜瓜种（CucumismeloL．）的三个变种（var．makuwaMakino，var．albidaMakino，var．flavaMakino）。
