.∑PAHs in the edible parts of vegetables were 227-1530 ng/g, while the total concentrations of 8 kinds of carcinogenic PAHs (BaA, Chry, BbF, BkF, BaP, DA, BgihP, IN) (∑_carePAHs) were 7.10-231 ng/g. Among the various vegetable species determined, the highest polyaromatic burden was observed in the leafy vegetables, followed by melonandfruit species, while the rhizome species accumulated the lowest amount.
.A traditional fruit driven style with ripe melon, peach and troical aromas. The palate is soft and smooth. Fruit ripeness gives good balanceand length.
.The fruit of any of various related plants, such as the cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumber, squash, pumpkin, andmelon, having a hard or leathery rind, fleshy pulp, and numerous flattened seeds.
.Any of several varieties of the melon Cucumis melo, such as the cantaloupe, having fruit characterized by a netted rind and edible flesh with a musky aroma.
.For improving the shelf-life of melonfruit, the experiment was conducted to evaluate the inheritances of ethylene production, abscission of peduncle and rapid yellowing of epidermis in melons. Queen×9-8 (within non-climacteric melons) and Queen×Charentais (among non-climacteric and climacteric melons) including their F_1, F_2 and BC generations were obtained from these three varieties with contrasting ethylene production and rate of change.
