2.This article is concerned with a summary of the implication, principle, current states and development strategics of developing non-timber product forest crops in constructing the shelterbelt of the Changjiang River by investigating the construction of the shelterbelt in the upper and middle peaches of the Changjiang River in Hunan, Huber, Jiangxi and Anhui province and analysing the soc-economic condition in this areas.
