1.Deltoid os of the talus(2.64%), the accessorial scaphoid(6.18%)and the osteal-bridge between the calcaneum and talus(7.04%)were demonstrated from 7 to 18 years, respectively.
8.Preoperative diagnoses included osteoarthritis in 14, rheumatoid arthritis in 3, tuberculosis in 1, avascular necrosis of talus in 3, and 4 equinus deformity due to miscellaneous causes.
9.It permits excision of the entire talus, and the only tarsal joints that it cannot reach are those between the navicular and the second and first cuneiforms.
10.Anterior translation of talus(ATT)were measured. Results The average ATT of suffered ankles was 7.8mm,while the value of the opposite ankles was 5.4mm,the controlled group was 6.1mm. There was significant difference between the suffered ankles and normal ones(P<0.01).
