1.Based on the back silting analyses of the sandbar-dotted waterway in the Oujiang River estuary after three times dredging, reasons for back silting in the waterway are presented considering influences of flow dynamics, waves and salinity distribution on sediment concentration.
2.The models are used for reclamation layout planning, design of marine structures, waterway studies and assessment of future maintenance dredging requirements.
