3.On using 5 portion of ammonia-fixing synergists and 100 portion of nitrogenous fertilizers as the base fer- tilizer,the wheat output goes up by 45-52.5kg/mu in dryfarmland,54.5-74.5kg/mu in rice field,and the reward of nitrogenous fertilizer rises by 41.4-68.6%.
4.The dry spell is affecting 25,833 square kilometers (10,300 square miles) of land, including 16,146 square kilometers of farmland, with crops withering in some areas, the paper said.
