5.Based on the experimental results, three possible electrode reaction mechanism of the complex of dysprosium with alizarin complexone (ALC) are hypothesized. By using the simplex-deviation-pattern recognition, it is shown that the polarographic wave of Dy(Ⅲ)-ALC complex is likely a polarographic adsorptive-complex wave. The surface concentration of Dy(Ⅲ)-ALC complex is found to be 1.51×10~(-11)mol/cm~2.
