1.Distribution function of heterodyne quantum efficiency of Hg_(0.8)Cd_(0.2)Te photo-electrical diode
2.Using these, materials, we have obtained a 144 mW output power with 3.84% efficiency at 56.5 GHz,a noise figure of 2.4 dB with an associated gain of 6.5dB at 9.3 GHz and a continuous power output of 3W with 20.2% efficiency at 8.57GHz for the Gunn diode, FET and IMPATT diode respectively.
3.Diode-laser-pumped Neodymium-Doped Yttrium Vanadate (Nd: YVO_4) lasers, benefiting broader absorption band than common solid gain materials, have one spherical predominance of non-sensitive to temperature for pumped efficiency, in spite of owning general advantages of diode-laser-pumped solid-state lasers (DPL): high power, compact, station, long life and whole solid. Such lasers have an important application tomorrow in pulsed laser range with high repetition frequency and laser marker.
4.This paper reports an high output power,high conversion efficiency,all-solid-state,quasi-continuous-wave Ti:sapphire laser system pumped by frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser with diode pumped laser(DPL).
5.The design and fabrication of a Ka band Si CW IMPATT diode are introduced in this paper. CW output power levels of 400-800 mW with gold inte-grated heat sink,an efficiency of 5-10 percent and a junction temperature of 200-250℃ have been achieved from DDR IMPATT diode at frequenctes around 35 GHz.
6.For a magnetic field of 2.5 T,diode voltage of 710 kV,and diode current of 10 kA,the conversion efficiency is 26.6% with a microwave frequency of 7.5 GHz and a power of 1.21 GW.
7.Diode-pumped solid-state laser (DPL or DPSSL) is solid-state laser, used laser diode (LD) instead of flash lamp to pumping laser media. Comparing with flash lamp, it has a lot of advantages, such as high efficiency, reduced size, compactness, stabilize and longer lifetime.
8.Diode pumped solid state laser (DPSSL) developed in the 1990s is a new type of laser. DPL has the advantages of high efficiency, high light beam quality, tight structure and long life.
9.This source will have a power output of about 2.5GW with 25% efficiency at 5.2GHz. The input modulate voltage is 125kV and the post-accelerating voltage is 600kV. Because of using the coaxial structure, the diode impedance may be reduce to a few Ohms, which allow large input and output powers.
10.Comparing with traditional flash lamp, diode-pumped solid-state laser(DPL) has a lot of advantages, such as lower thermal effects, higher efficiency, compactness, longer lifetime, stabilize, reliable and high power output with high beam quality.
