endotherm
.The difference of heated area between tubes is very small, so the thermal deviation mainly results from inhomogeneous endotherm and flux.
.The results showed that nematic liquid crystalline mesophase was obtained when the temperature decreased, and was confirmed by the second endotherm corresponding clearing temperature of DSC curve as well as SAXD, WAXD curves.
.The poly (ester imide) s were characterized by WAXD,DSC measurements, and polarizing microscope. WAXD measurements indicated that sharp reflections were detectable at beth 2θ<13°and 2θ=20°, which fit a typical smectic WAXD pattern. the results revealed that the samples posessed a sharp endotherm (T_(ml)) and a second endotherm (T_(m2)) which indicated the phase transitions.
.An organism, such as a mammal or bird, having a body temperature that is constant and largely independent of the temperature of its surroundings; an endotherm.
.A new series of fully aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline copolyesters were synthesized by thermal polycondensation of p-hydroxybenzoic acid [PHB], terephthalic acid [TPA], resorcinol [RES] and bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) methanone [BHP]. The DSC traces of copolyesters exhibited two or three endotherms, the low temperature endotherm(Tm) of which indicated the transition from solid state to anisotropic phase.
