2.Some facies marks of submerged sedimentary (such as shale color and palaeobiological fossil) and reworking marks of lake current (such as lithology and texture, sedimentary structure, grain size analysis, litholic composition and its maturity, facies sequence in the cores, plane pattern of sand body) have been found in the lower Guantao Formation of the Neogene in the eastern Jiyang Depression.
5.A peculiar fossil ostracod is abundantly preserved in the Lower Eocene of non-marine facies in China, which is characterized by the shell large in size anterior end with a lip structure, and surface ornamented with weak reticulation,identified as Cypris decaryi Gauthier living in Africa and South America in regions near the equator.
